SAFETY SHUT DOWN:
Should the system detect a fault AND/OR should the system detect an increase in Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) due to a defective or leaking diesel injector, contaminated air-filter/restricted exhaust etc.:

- Indicator Lamp Illuminates to notify operator
- Vehicle reverts to stock diesel operation

Extensive research has shown a direct relationship between exhaust gas temperatures and exhaust emission levels of Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), which is an extremely poisonous gas.
